Japanese Kimono Furisode Pure Red and Gold Silk Vintage

Kin-koma Teshishu Shouken Kyou-yuzen Furisode. (Gold piece hand embroidery pure silk). Hand embroidery of gold piece is very rare to find even in Japan.

And It's under a good storage situation for decades. Feels so silky and smooth to wear, Looks pretty and shiny when you hang it on. It is one of a Kyoto's traditional crafts that authentic dyeing method.

Which is created by Miyazaki Yuzensai who was Ougi Artist in Edo period. It is one of a embroidery method that be able to use thic strings, Which usually is too thic to through the needle. Used by wooden piece (bobbin) roll over the sketch and fasten thic string by "Toji-ito" (thinner string). Finishing depends on the craftsman's skill. Yuki take : 26 in (66cm). Sode take : 40 in (103cm). Mi take : 63.5 in (161.5cm).

Mae haba : 9 in (23cm). Ushiro haba : 12 in (30.5cm).
