Exceptional design, superior workmanship or just something quintessentially Japanese about them. Normally, the brighter the colors used, the younger the person it was intended for. The design is a gorgeous embriodered Japanese Pheasants. It is made of luxurious deep wine silk with 3 "Kikyo-Mon" crests. The artwork on both the outside and the inside is absolutely stunning!

It is in excellent condition and has been carefully stored so it has no stains or odor. It came from Kanazawa and was no doubt owned by someone of wealth and social standing as it would have been very costly when new. It comes in the protective washi paper Tatoushi case seen in the last photo. See photos for measurements and other details! All items are carefully packed.
